Unite industry, nonprofit organizations, academia, and national laboratories to accelerate U.S. leadership in supercomputing, artificial intelligence, and quantum. We harness DOE's scientific capabilities to support DOE's missions, strengthen our nation's economic and national security, and overcome our most pressing scientific and technological challenges.

To create a collaborative ecosystem around state-of-the-art HPC, AI, and quantum that is accessible, comprehensive, sustainable, and beneficial to all sectors of society.

Policy Focus
From our inaugural AI for Science workshop, PULS AIQ has identified three interconnected policy challenges that require a coordinated national response.
How should the U.S. organize a durable national AI-for-science strategy that aligns agency missions, scientific priorities, and public-private partnerships around clear national goals?
Much federally-funded research data remains fragmented and inaccessible for AI. What policies can treat scientific data as a national asset and unlock it for AI-driven discovery?
AI-for-science efforts must endure beyond a single initiative or administration. How do we build the evidence base, bipartisan support, and cross-sector partnerships needed for sustained success?
