Coalition Activity
Workshops, briefings, and convenings at the intersection of federal policy and the advanced computing technologies shaping America's future.
Past Events
An invitation-only full-day workshop bringing together over 50 leaders from government agencies (DOE, NSF, NIH), industry, DOE national laboratories, academic institutions, think tanks, philanthropy, and Congressional staff to explore the emerging federal AI-for-science landscape — including DOE's Genesis Mission — and develop actionable policy recommendations.
The workshop featured expert briefings on the Genesis Mission and global AI competition, a DOE live demonstration by LLNL's Brian Spears, and three facilitated policy discussions covering: building a national AI-for-science ecosystem; scientific data as national research infrastructure; and ensuring long-term success, trust, and durability.
